Google Maps scraper or a verified lead list?

A scraper reads business listings off Google Maps: names, phones, websites, ratings. It does not give you a working email address. Finding that address on each website and checking that the mailbox accepts mail is where most of the work is.

Run a scraper when

Our own Google Maps scraper is public on the Apify store for exactly this use: listings in, structured rows out, priced by usage.

  • You need raw listing data at volume, for analysis or a dataset rather than an email campaign.
  • You already have your own email discovery and verification step and only need the listings.
  • You want full control of the search terms, the fields and the schedule, and you are comfortable maintaining the run.

Order a verified list when

You want to send email this week. LeadProof runs the search for your category and locations, reads each business website for a contact address, verifies that address against the receiving mail server, and leaves out domains that accept every address and so cannot be verified.

Only rows that pass reach your file, and you pay for those rows only. Orders start at 100 leads for $9.

The hidden cost of doing it yourself

Blocked runs
Maps changes its pages and throttles heavy traffic. A scraper that worked last month needs proxies, retries and upkeep.
Duplicates
Chains, multi-location businesses and repeated listings inflate a raw export. Each one has to be collapsed by domain or phone before outreach.
No email
A listing carries a website, not an inbox. Some sites publish an address, many hide it behind a form, and some have none.
Bounces
Unverified addresses bounce. A high bounce rate hurts the reputation of the domain you send from, and every later campaign pays for it.

Same source, different finished product

Both routes start from the same public Google Maps listings. The difference is everything after the listing: email discovery, mailbox verification, review filtering and removing the businesses already in your CRM. A scraper stops at the listing; an order stops at a file you can send to.

Questions

Is collecting Google Maps listings allowed?
Public business listings are widely collected. How you then contact businesses is governed by email law such as CAN-SPAM in the US, so follow it whichever route you take.
Can I give you my own search terms?
Yes. Any business type and any city, region or country at checkout.
Do I get the raw listings too?
Every delivered row carries the listing fields: name, category, phone, address, rating, review count, Maps link and place ID, next to the verified email.
