Quality policy
The commitments below are enforced in the code that fulfils your order, not in a sales conversation. The limitations under them are published for the same reason.
What we commit to
- Only addresses the receiving mail server confirms as deliverable are delivered.
- Only delivered leads are charged. A shortfall against your quantity is refunded automatically, without you asking.
- Every result is reviewed by a human before final delivery.
- A CRM export you upload for suppression is deleted once your order is fulfilled.
- Your delivered file stays available for thirty days, then is removed.
What we do not claim
- A LeadProof list says a business exists, is reachable, and matches your filters. It does not say the business is shopping, hiring, or dissatisfied with its current supplier. We sell no intent signal and no technographic data, and any page implying otherwise is wrong. Observed 2026-08-02.
- We deliver the business's published contact address, not a named individual's direct line or personal inbox. If your outreach depends on reaching a specific person by name, this is the wrong product. Observed 2026-08-02.
- Every run recorded above is US. Orders outside the US are accepted and the engine is not US-specific, but we have no measured fill rate for them yet, and we will say so rather than imply otherwise. In markets where small businesses commonly have no website, expect a lower fill rate and set the review bar lower. Observed 2026-07-27.
- Google Maps category matching is approximate. In the 2026-07-23 HVAC build, a roofing company appeared in the results for an HVAC search because Maps treats the two as adjacent trades. Broad trade searches are the most affected; specific category wording is the mitigation. Observed 2026-07-23.
If something in your file is wrong
Write to support@leadproof.co with the order number and the rows in question. A person reads that inbox and will tell you what happened.
We are not publishing a blanket per-row remedy here, because we would rather state a policy we can hold to than a generous one we invented for a web page. If your file has a problem, raise it and we will deal with it.
How we handle being wrong
Every observation on this site carries the date it was made. When one stops being true, the page changes.
Bugs of ours that reached a customer file are documented on the methodology pages next to the rule that now prevents them. The vendor-address failure is the current example, and it stays up.
- On 2026-07-23 a font foundry's address was delivered as a lead, because it appeared in the markup of the business's own website. Web-vendor domains — font foundries, site builders, CDNs, agencies — are now excluded by rule, and the exclusion has unit tests. The general class of failure (an address on a page that does not belong to the business) is one we actively hunt rather than consider closed. Observed 2026-07-23.
Questions
- What if you deliver fewer leads than I ordered?
- The shortfall is refunded automatically. You are only charged for what was delivered.
- Is every order reviewed by a person?
- Yes. A human reviews the result before the file is released.
- How long do you keep my delivered file?
- Thirty days, so you can re-download it. Then it is removed.
