Local-business lead lists, built to order

Most lead data is sold out of a database that was compiled once and has been aging ever since. LeadProof builds your list at the moment you order it, and only charges for the addresses a mail server confirms are real.

What arrives

A CSV with 14 columns per business, delivered by email with a signed download link. Every row is a business that matched your categories and locations, cleared your review bar, and had an email address the receiving mail server confirmed it would accept.

  • Business name, category, full address, city, state, ZIP
  • Verified email address plus the verdict that cleared it
  • Phone, website, Google rating, review count, Maps link, place ID

The full field list, including which fields can legitimately arrive empty, is in the data dictionary.

Why build time matters more than database size

Businesses close. Staff leave. Mailboxes get retired. A list assembled two years ago degrades on all three axes at once, and the vendor selling it usually cannot tell you how old any individual row is.

Building at order time removes that question rather than answering it. The listing is read during your order and the address is verified in the same run, minutes before the file reaches you. We are not claiming our data is better sourced than everyone else's — we are claiming it has not had time to rot.

Choosing a review bar

The Google review count is the one quality filter that is both reliable and free to apply, so it is the one we expose. A business with 50+ reviews is demonstrably operating and demonstrably visible; one with none may be new, dormant, or closed.

Raising the bar rejects far more candidates per delivered lead, which is why it carries a price multiplier: 1.5× at 30+, 2× at 50+ and 2.8× at 100+. 30+ is a sensible default. Reserve 100+ for dense metros, where enough businesses clear it to fill an order.

What you pay

Orders run from 100 to 1,000 leads, starting at $9, from $0.07 per delivered lead at the top volume tier. No subscription and no seat licence — you buy a file.

Only delivered leads are charged. If a build cannot reach your quantity, the difference is refunded automatically rather than filled with rows that failed verification.

When this is the wrong product

Stated plainly, because finding out after paying is worse for both of us.

  • A LeadProof list says a business exists, is reachable, and matches your filters. It does not say the business is shopping, hiring, or dissatisfied with its current supplier. We sell no intent signal and no technographic data, and any page implying otherwise is wrong. Observed 2026-08-02.
  • We deliver the business's published contact address, not a named individual's direct line or personal inbox. If your outreach depends on reaching a specific person by name, this is the wrong product. Observed 2026-08-02.
  • A business with no website almost never yields a verifiable email, because the address is discovered by reading the business's own site. Categories and countries where businesses operate from a social page alone will fill more slowly, or not to the full quantity. Observed 2026-07-27.
  • Every run recorded above is US. Orders outside the US are accepted and the engine is not US-specific, but we have no measured fill rate for them yet, and we will say so rather than imply otherwise. In markets where small businesses commonly have no website, expect a lower fill rate and set the review bar lower. Observed 2026-07-27.

Questions

Is the data fresh, or from a database?
Built at order time. The listings are read and the emails verified during your run, not retrieved from a stored file.
What does verified mean here?
The receiving mail server confirmed it would accept mail for that address. Addresses on domains that accept everything cannot be confirmed, so they are excluded rather than delivered as probably fine.
Can I exclude businesses already in my CRM?
Yes. Upload a CSV export at checkout and we exclude matches on email address, business domain and phone number before delivery.
What happens if you cannot find enough leads?
You are charged for what was delivered and the shortfall is refunded automatically. We do not pad a file to hit a number.
Do you sell lists of consumers?
No. Every row is a business establishment with a public listing. We hold no consumer data.
Can I order outside the United States?
Yes, anywhere Google Maps resolves. Our measured fill rates are all US so far, and in markets where small businesses commonly have no website the fill rate will be lower.
